This year's painting focuses on the Lewis family, a family whose ministry in Southern Gospel Music spans nearly a hundred years. To Pop Lewis, the ninety six year old patriarch and Morgan Easter, his nine year old great granddaughter, family, faith, and gospel music are a way of life.
Granddaughter, Sheri Easter is very active with husband Jeff, ministering in concerts all over North America. Recently, she appeared as a guest on the popular television show, "Touched by an Angel." Her mother, Polly Lewis Copsey, is a well-known member of the legendary Lewis Family.
