It has been a whirlwind year. Where did it go? It many ways, it has been for Mitchell and me a sort of "Misty" year. If you haven't known us long, you may not know, Misty is our baby girl. Her antics this year have closed a chapter in our lives. In May she received her Masters from the Juilliard School in New York. In August she married Joesph Pereira. (I've included a couple of photos inside this newsletter for you to see.) Even though she's been gone from home for eight years, these two milestones marked a place in our lives, as surely as they did in hers.
On another note, Mitchell became eligible and now is a member of AARP with all rights and priviledges there unto (not me, I 'm too young for that.) I've been flying quite a lot. The airplane has become my hobby and my challenge. I do love it up there. Sometimes Mitchell and I just fly somewhere to eat. I know it's awful, but we enjoy those times together. This year we celebrate our 32nd anniversary. Mitchell is working hard these days and I've never seen him enjoying himself more. He has expanded his speaking schedule, too.
